Elena Nieves

Argentina

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1967. She graduated in 1990 at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires where she studied drawing, painting and paintings’ analysis with several Argentine artists. In 1996 she presented her first personal exhibition. In 1999 she received from the government of her country a scholarship for her Cultural Excellence in Visual Arts. Between 1994 and 2009 she worked as the assistant of the Argentine painter Luis Felipe Noé and helped him with the realization of his exhibition for the 53rd Biennale in Venice in 2009. She lives and works in Buenos Aires. Since 2005 she regularly holds exhibitions in Italy.
